Abundant Land is a documentary that follows a group of Hawaiian residents on the island of Moloka’i as they oppose the biotech industry's use of their land to test genetically engineered seeds, and work to restore an integrated food system based on ancient Hawaiian farming practices.
May 8th - May 22nd Stream Abundant Land directly from this site and 50% of all proceeds will go towards supporting the work of Hawai‘i SEED.
Hawai‘i SEED is a non-profit coalition of farmers, activists and community members from five Hawaiian islands that advocates for sustainable agriculture and GMO labeling legislation. Walter Ritte, one of the documentary’s main characters, is a long time board member of Hawai‘i SEED. They have been working to champion transparency and sustainability while educating the public about the risks posed by GMOs.
