April and May 2019 Screenings

April 12 - Safe Agriculture and Safe Schools in Watsonville, CA.

April 20 - The International Resilience Film Festival, Nevada City, CA. 2pm

April 25 - Beyond Toxics hosts a screening at the Bijou Art Cinema in Eugene, OR. 7pm.

May 29 - The Northwest Arctic Heritage Center in Kotzebue, Alaska will host a screening. Time TBD.

October and November 2018 Screenings

October 6 - The Eugene Environmental Film Festival -  The film will screen at the David Minor Theater at 7:00 pm.  The director, Natasha Florentino, will be present for a Q&A following the screening. https://eugevoff.org/

October 16 - Salt Spring Island Public Library, BC, Canada. - Transition Salt Spring will be hosting a screening of Abundant Land followed by a discussion on how the local community can address the issues of food security.   

November 4 - The New Parkway Theater, Oakland -  Indigenous Cultivation of Food & Resistance.  Join the Ecology Center for a screening of Abundant Land, followed by a rich panel discussion and Q&A. November 8 - The Watsonville Film Festival’s Healthy Community Film Series - The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with Dr. Ann Lopez from the Center for Farmworker Families.  Event will take place at the the Appleton Event Lounge in Watsonville. http://watsonvillefilmfest.org/

November 2017 Screenings

Nov. 2nd - 7pm at UC Berkeley - The Student Environmental Resource Center & The Student Organic Garden Association 102 Wurster Hall, UC Berkeley Campus. View invite here. 

Nov. 20th and 21st - 7pm - Hawaii Premiere at the Palace Theater in Hilo, HI.  Monday night screening will be followed by Q&A and discussion with special guest Eric Drake Weinert Jr., President of the East Hawaii chapter, Hawaii Farmers Union United.  Tuesday night screening will be followed by Q&A with the director.
